Full job description
We’re looking for an experienced and detail-focused Automotive Window Tinter to join our automotive team. In this role, you’ll be applying window tint to a variety of vehicles, making sure each job is clean, precise, and meets our customers’ expectations. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment where your skills and attention to detail really matter, helping improve both the look and privacy of our customers’ vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prep vehicle windows before tinting, including masking off areas when needed
- Measure and cut tint film to fit each window properly
- Apply tint smoothly, making sure there are no bubbles, creases, or flaws
- Use the necessary hand and power tools to get the job done right
- Check finished work to make sure it meets quality and safety standards
- Keep your workspace clean and organized, including proper cleanup of materials
- Help out with other shop tasks like detailing or minor automotive work when needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous dealership or automotive industry experience is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with automotive repair processes are considered assets
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
- Ability to safely lift and handle heavier items, including vehicle parts and equipment
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on precise and clean tint application
- Mechanical or technician experience is an asset, demonstrating problem-solving ability
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
