Are you interested in joining a fast-paced serving team with a wicked vinyl collection? The Ruby on Wale is currently seeking an experienced server for our new location at 328 Wale Rd. in Colwood, BC. The Ruby on Wale brings home-style cuisine to the plate, with high-end technique and a fun vibe. Check out our menu online to see if it is food that you could get down to!

Job Summary

As the server, you will be stepping up to serve quality breakfast and lunch items at our vibrant new location. Delivering exceptional customer service, and experience working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment are requirements. Applicants with some barista, bartending, and supervisory experience preferred. This is an exceptional position for high-energy team members, and those who have a passion for serving delicious grub. In addition to serving meals, making drinks, and greeting every guest with a smile, the server is required to learn all opening and closing duties, current safety procedures, be available for early mornings, and manage large sections. As the face of our team, the server is vital to the success, flow, and vibe of the room.

Qualifications

  • Serving experience required

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Well groomed and clean presentation
  • Passionate about food
  • Ability to work as part of a strong team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great taste in music

Requirements

Ability to work 30 hours per week
