Required Drywall Installer (TEER 73102)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Measure, trim, and position drywall panels for installation on both walls and ceilings.
- Attach drywall securely to wooden or metal framing structures, including studs and joists.
- Install protective metal corner strips on exterior corners and ensure proper alignment.
- Apply joint compound to seams, nail holes, and surface imperfections, followed by taping and smoothing for a uniform finish.
- Construct and set up suspended metal ceiling frameworks, then insert panels to create acoustic or decorative ceiling designs.

Requirements and skills
Education and Experience: Completion of secondary school is required. Completion of industry courses or 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Language: English
Salary: CAD $36.70/hour. Full-time permanent position at Splendor Constructions Ltd located at 1601 TRAUT RD, KELOWNA, British Columbia, V1P 1E6
