The Night Security position is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of Border Paving Ltd.’s facilities, equipment and property after hours. We are looking for a dependable and observant individual who is comfortable working independently and able to respond calmly and professionally to unexpected situations.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the yards, buildings and equipment storage areas
- Monitor for unauthorized access, suspicious activity and safety concerns
- Secure gates, buildings, and equipment as required
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies and notify management as required
- Maintain accurate logs of nightly activity and report any concerns
- Work with law enforcement or emergency services when required
- Perform other duties to support site security
Qualifications
- Previous security or related experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently and use sound judgement
- Strong observation and reporting skills
- Dependable, punctual with a commitment to safety
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
