The Role
You will be responsible for high-quality wrap installations and/or mechanical vehicle outfitting. All work is performed on-site at our Ottawa facility. Whether you are an experienced wrapper or a mechanically-inclined individual eager to learn the trade, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation: Surface cleaning and full decontamination prior to installation.
- Installation: Application of vinyl wraps and commercial graphics with extreme attention to detail.
- Mechanical: Removal and reinstallation of vehicle trim, badges, mirrors, and handles to ensure a seamless finish.
- Outfitting: Assembly and installation of various vehicle accessories and interior components.
- Quality Control: Performing self-inspections to ensure results meet our high-end shop standards.
- Shop Maintenance: Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Previous employment in the vinyl wrap/automotive industry OR a strong, demonstrable passion to learn.
- Detail-Oriented: A measure twice, cut once mindset and pride in craftsmanship.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Basic knowledge of 12-volt automotive electrical systems and tool use is a significant asset.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs.
- Reliability: Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Essentials: Valid driver’s licence and legal eligibility to work in Canada.
- Bonus: Bilingualism (English/French) and a portfolio of previous work.
